DUB OPTIC is an eye-opening concept stemming from the work Luke Murray did on the DUBNIUM brand from 2007-2011. After nearly 4 years of solid promotion, good vibes and natural growth by the Bournemouth-based organiser he ceased his work with DUBNIUM and DUB OPTIC became a fully-fledged mission.

With a clear vision in mind, Luke felt after aiding from scratch in the creation of a non-exist Bournemouth dub-scene (2007-2011) it was time to step it up a gear – into overdrive, and give the people what they want…

…the new sounds of the underground, more big name artists, multiple soundsystem dances, a festival, a highly praised resident artist roster amongst a visual splendour in production not to be matched by any other imitators.

DUB OPTIC continually strives to blend a history of dub-based music- from Reggae Roots to Jungle, Drum & Bass to Dubstep - focusing on Soundsystem Culture as the pinnacle.

DUB OPTIC is known as one of the UK’s premier dub-based events, not to mention festival-contributors, providing music, sound, food and culture to festivals around the UK as well as the mighty OUTLOOK FESTIVAL in Croatia.
